If you have considered leading a walk but would like some guidance on the practicalities of putting on a walk in our area, I will be running a practical session. This will cover some of the steps for finding and leading a walk in our area. I will provide a brief, easy-to-read guide using one of our routes near Beccles.

I'm expecting this to take a couple of hours.

As you will have noticed, gaps are appearing in the programme due to a lack of leaders. Leading is not complicated or arduous, and any prospective leader will be given all the assistance they need to get started.

We have around 1000 walks in our history. Most of them are saved on the OS App, Google My Maps and Wikiloc. Get the app on your smartphone and you can follow our routes without getting lost. Print the map so you have a backup if your tech' fails. You can download the GPX file for use in most other walk sharing apps. The KML file is useful in Google Earth Desktop, also excellent for walk planning.
