Non Members and Guests

Non-member and guest walkers are very welcome including visiting travellers.

Our insurance covers non-member guests for three "try-us-out" walks. After that, we'd ask you to join Ramblers.

Members can walk with any group in the country. There are 600 to 1000 walks per week nationally.

Our walks are free but we ask for a donation if we park at a village hall or a church. A pound per car is typical. Some groups ask 50p per person per walk to cover their running costs. Normally there's no need to book or phone but please check the programme. Please just turn up and say hello to the walk leader.

Occasionally we use pay-and-display parking.

And finally, please re-check the programme just before you set out. Occasionally we need to make last minute changes to account for floods, weather, road closures or other unexpected circumstances. These are announced on the website and on our Facebook group for members only.
