In Geldeston, the group split. The majority followed the river path on the Norfolk bank via the Wherry Inn. Neil revisited old haunts by following the Angles' Way south of the river via the Locks Inn. The southern route is shorter by one or two tenths of a mile.

Food: Picnic lunch

This walk was a bonus. There was warm sun instead of the predicted heavy showers. It was an interesting route. And it was really nice to welcome two guest walkers from Canada.

The river path between Geldeston and Dunburgh can be flooded or overgrown. If necessary, use the local lanes instead.
