We will provide a few magnifying glasses and bug jars etc for children interested in nature; please bring any additional equipment if you have it. This walk is mainly on tracks and grass and is suitable for robust buggies, as well as slings or baby backpacks. Some short sections will require walking in single file with buggies. The car park is free. There is a visitors’ centre next to the car park with toilets, but it is manned by volunteers and therefore not always open. It is safer to assume it will be closed and plan accordingly! |

Waveney Ramblers’ 2018 AGM - Details to be confirmed |
2019 Jan |
The trip is on! Get your package booked! Neil has already booked his accommodation and flights from Weds, Jan 9th till Weds, Feb 13th, 2019. You can book whatever you like between these dates and we could meet for some walks. Fitter walkers might want to plan more ambitious outings. The suggested walks are based on the use of public transport. If you hire a car there are many more possibilities but the higher mountain weather is not so good in winter. You could go skiing though! There are more details here with plans for 12 walks plus a map and a photo gallery showing the best bits. |
